Claudia Poole

Claudia Michelle Poole, “Khia”, age 57, of Erie, Pa, made her transition into eternal life with the Lord on September 27, 2022, at UPMC Hamot with her loving mother and sister by her side.
She was born in Erie on January 30, 1965, a daughter of Jeanette Lee Egana and the late James Russell Lee, Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother James “Rusty” Lee, Jr., sister Terry Stapp, and best friend and husband for over 30 years Richard Poole.
 
After graduating from East High School, Khia studied at Great Lakes Institute of Technology followed by many years of employment at GTE.
Khia loved the Lord and her family with everything in her. She enjoyed her life in Erie spending time with loved ones and making memories. If you had the pleasure of knowing her and being in her presence, you know she had a heart of gold and the most genuine and loving soul. She was full of love and always there to comfort and support those in a time of need.
 
She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her mother Jeanette Lee Egana of Florida, two daughters Mashea and Richarra Poole of Erie, and three grandchildren who filled her heart with joy, Briasia, Stephon, Si’aire. Khia is further survived by her sisters Alecia Lee, Stacey McLaurin, and Sabrina McLaurin, brother Tracy “Joe” Lee, and many nieces and nephews who adored her.
 
A celebration of life will be held on October 7, 2022 at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services Inc, 459 E. 12th st. Erie PA, 16503, from 6:00pm-8:00pm with Pastor Ben and Jennie Clay of Straight Gate Narrow Way Ministries officiating. Burial will be private.
