Christine Leigh “Chrissy” Flak was born on July 23, 1970, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Tuesday February 3, 2026, at 9:15 a.m , at her home, at the age of 55 where she had her final moments.

Christine was born in New Castle, PA to the late Marcyne Biddle Flak and Gordon Flak of New Castle, Pa

Christine attended New Castle High School in 1980s. Christine was known for her strong hustling ethics, dedication, and devotion to gold exchange and going to yard sales, she found comfort and joy in playing bingo, going to the casino and playing the slots where she mingled with friends and family, Christine. later in life she embraced her role as a grandmother of 3 handsome grandsons. Christine was also the life of the party; she loved spending time and playing cards with friends and family. She loved cleaning and fixing things around the house, and she found joy in spending time with her grandson

Jasoni whom she had a helping hand in raising him and he loved her dearly. Chrissy had a bouncy and full of energy personality and her generous spirit and vibrant personality will be deeply missed.
Besides her father and mother, she was preceded in death by a sister Jean Ann Flak and a niece Jessica Flak
Christine leaves to cherish her 3 daughters Miranda Flak of New Castle, PA, Carley Gramsky of Pittsburgh, PA and Jenna Flak of Erie, PA. 3 Grandsons, Kash, Ja’Sani and Giovanni also leaves behind a sister Suzann “Mike” Aeschbacer and 2 brother Jeffrey Flak and Michael Flak both of New Castle, PA. She also leaves to cherish a Common law husband of 23 years Lamont Smith. 4 Special friends Natasha Thompson, Shanell Mooney, Roslyn McIntosh and Mia Mangino Burton. Chrissy also leaves a host of, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who loved her dearly.

Christine love for God never went unnoticed and will never be forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to Davis – Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503 on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 12:00 PM until the time of her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.
