Christine Cooley

Christine Marie Roberts Cooley age 72, of Erie peacefully passed away on Monday January 26, 2026, surrounded by family. She was born in Erie, PA a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Wileler Roberts. She graduated from Tech Memorial High School and previously worked for GE, Lords, Holiday Inn and Hamot UPMC. She loved spending time with family and friends cooking, listening to music and didn't mind a good fast dance. Christine was an avid Gardner she loved to fill her home with many different kinds of plants. She could take any stem nurture it into a flourishing plant.

Her family and friends will dearly miss Christine. God saw her getting weary and whispered, "Come and Rest". Christine leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Pearlene Cooley, a son Jimmy Cooley (Rochelle), two brothers Walter and Charlie Roberts, three sisters Jeanette Roberts, Delores Johnson and Patricia Jones all of Erie. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild, an aunt Alvina Dantzer (Mark) Erie, and an Uncle John Johnson, Virginia. A host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Dale Cooley, two brothers Calvin Jackson and Anderson Roberts, a sister Willie Mae Roberts.

Relatives and friends may call at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc.  459 East 12th Street Erie, PA 16503 on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1;00 PM.
