Chester R. Wieczorek

Chester R. Wieczorek was surrounded by his family, as he went with our lord, Jesus Christ,
November 19, 2022. He was born on January 4,1936 to the late Chester J. and Helen Wieczorek. He was the oldest and only remaining of their 4 children.
He graduated from Cathedral Prep School and retired as one of Erie's first K-9
Police officers. He then went on to caring for his grandsons, one of his proudest
accomplishments. Chester loved camping near and far and polka music could be
heard all over the house 24/7. Chet especially loved their past Saturday nights
out, listening to the Polka bands and dancing with their "Table #2" friends.
Chester is survived by the love of his life of 66 years, Lila. His sons Mark and Dr.
Stephen (Cindy) Wieczorek, his daughter Tricia (Jeff) Jordano, granddaughters
Melissa Morrissey (Mike Rittenhouse) and Beth Wieczorek, grandsons, Steve
(Maria) and David (Casey Main) Wieczorek, great grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla,
Aubrey, Noah, Nessa, lan, and Julian and great-great granddaughter Blakely.
Further survived by sisters in law, Mary Jane Wieczorek, Anne Becker, and many
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, November 25, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Church, 509 E. 26th St., Erie, Pa 16504 from 11:00 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon. Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery will be private.
