Chester Burrows Obituary

Chester “Chet” Burrows transitioned from this world on Sunday, January 18, 2026. He was born on November 9, 1959, son of the late Martha Shaw-Fox and Robert James Burrows, Sr.

In addition to his parents, Chester was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Willis-Scott, brother, Robert J Burrows, Jr., daughter, Tasha Lentz, grandson, Jaquan Burrows and stepfather, Andrew Fox, Sr.

Chester was a family man who loved spending time with his family. He helped anyone who needed him. He also loved his peace and relaxation, listening to Blues music, Sunday dinners and Barbecuing. His favorite song was “Keep on Rollin” by King George, and his favorite saying was “Peace and Love.”

He leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Patricia Miles, two brothers, Elmor Dean Burrows, and Andrew Fox, Jr., daughters, Tonya Quinn, Jessica and Tiffany Burrows, sons, Chester Burrows, Jr., Jeremy Lentz and Kenny Ford. He also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to Davis – Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16503 on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of his Homegoing Celebration at 1:00 PM with Bishop Frankie Quinn officiating.
