Charles Blair "Big Moose" Butler, 59, of Erie, transitioned on February 26, 2024, at UPMC-Hamot. Charlie was born in Waterbury, Ct on August 12, 1964, son of Maggie Kendly Butler and the late, Willie Earl Butler.
Charlie was an over the road truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, swimming and most of all, spending time with his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his five children, Latesha Roberts (Gary) of Utah, Meleka Butler of NC, his twins, Brandy and Jarred Butler of Va and Lela Butler of Fl., his step - children, Rona Abney (Robert), Dedira, Anita, Tamika, Pamela, Melody and Chris, all of Conn., his siblings, Gwen Butler (Delroy) of Erie, Pa, William Butler (Tie) of IL., Keith Butler (Naynay) of Erie, Pa and Renee Martinez (Courtney) of Conn., his grandchildren, Caleb Keyes, Xavier Roberts, Noah Roberts, and one great grandchild, Khai Keyes. In addition, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Olandrat Butler and his sister, Tamara Butler.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, March 1, 2024, at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 from 3:00 pm until the time of his service at 5:00 pm with Pastor Daryl Craig, officiating.
