Celestine Wilcott

Celestine Wilcott "Nonnie", 67, of Erie, Pa, peacefully transitioned from this life to be with the lord on January 2, 2024, at AHN St. Vincent. She was born in Pelahatchie, Miss. to the late Alfred Charles and Queen Esther (Beason) Morrow.

Celestine had worked at AHN St. Vincent for 27 years, where she retired, and over 10 years at Walmart. She enjoyed shopping, gardening and being family oriented in any way shape or form.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Kareem Lonnie Wilcott and Shaniyah Spearman, a brother, Charles Edward Morrow, sisters, Tanya Beason and Lisa Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James Earl Wilcott, children, Qwanteisa Morrow (Shelton), Kareem Wilcott (Rachael), William Morrow (Charmone), her step - children, Richard Jones, James Wilcott, Jr. (Patricia), brothers -in- law, Steve Johnson and Willie Wilcott (Eleanor). In addition, she has 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Chanel and Veronica Morrow, five brothers, Curtis, Anthony, Tyrone, Rovairr, and Lloyd Morrow.

Celestine touched many people in different ways in this world and we love her for that.

Relatives and friends may call at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church 155 East 21st Street, Erie, Pa 16503 from 11:00 am until the time of her Homegoing Service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Daryl Craig, officiating.
