Carol Druzak

Carol A. Druzak, 83, of Erie passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 31, 2024.  Born November 11, 1940, in Erie, she was the daughter of the late Leon J. and Mary T. (Yuhas) Buczynski.

She was a 1958 graduate of East High.  Carol retired from K-Mart and loved gardening, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren who were her life.

Survivors include a son, Greg Draszkiewcz, Sr., of Erie; daughters, Cindi Pollock and husband, Dan, of Erie and Denise Ecke and husband, Ernest, of Erie; sisters, Mary Ann Jankowski of Erie and Margaret Allgeier of Erie; a brother, Henry Buczynski and wife, Debbie of Kansas; grandchildren, Kristie Draszkiewicz, Gregory Draszkiewicz, Jr., Melissa Dacus, Daniel R. Pollock (Tiera Petersen), Katelyn Lance (Jon), and Scott Ecke; and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Mark Chandler, Leon J. Buczynski, Jr., and Edward L. Buczynski; a grandson, David Sutton; a granddaughter, Kimberly Mohika and a special friend, Leo F. Zaborowski.

A private Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church.
