Carol Sue Bingham, 74, of Erie, passed away on January 28, 2024. Carol was the daughter of Irene (Pude) Wargo and the late Carl Owen. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Boarts and her husband, John Bingham.
Carol was a graduate of General McLane class of 1967. She loved doing ceramics and owned Carriage House Ceramics. Carol taught ceramics at the Summit Senior Citizens Center and at the Mental Health Association of N.W. PA. for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and Soduko. She was a loving mother and will be missed.
Carol is survived by her significant other, Ed Zielinski, six children, Sonia Borges, Theresa (BG) Granger (Jeff), Douglas Stuck (Linda), Joshua Bingham, Jared Bingham and Amber Bingham.
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Doug Moore, Jessica Dietrich, Jefferey and Robert Granger, Madison Ivarone, Mai-Li Nguyen Stuck, Kylie, Maddox, Peyton, Alaina, Alex and Christina Bingham, six great grandchildren, one sister, Crissa Liggett (Tony), three brothers, Carl Owen (Marsha), Craig Owen (Debbie) and James Wargo (Robin), along with many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 5:00 pm until the time of her service at 7:00 pm. Burial will be private. Condolences may be sent to: davisgarrfuneralhome.com.
