Carl Duncan, Jr., 63, of Erie, transitioned on December 31, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Erie, Pa on April 19, 1959, son of the late Carl Duncan, Sr. and Elizabeth (Ward) Duncan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Doris Duncan, sisters, Jacqueline Jones and Regina Duncan and one brother, Ronnie Reese.
Carl served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed dressing, dancing, cooking, Praising the Lord, listening to music and most of all, spending time with his family.
Carl is survived by his children, Antoun Moore, Sr. of Erie, Pa, Jason Duncan (Lapriesha) of Atlanta, Ga, Carl Duncan III (Carfrecia) of Atlanta, Ga, Ariane Arrington (Antwon) of Erie, Pa, Danielle Edwards of Newport News, Va, and Ricardo Duncan of Erie, Pa and his honorary son, Corrandius Jones of Erie, Pa, his siblings, Grace Duncan-Stapp of Erie, Pa, Caroline Duncan of Newport News, Va, Sean Duncan of Colorado, Ca, Bertha Williams of Erie Pa, Darcey Branson and Richard Kowalewski of Erie, Pa, two special nephews, David Boyd and Jimmie Duncan and one special niece, Tameka Duncan-Smith (Darren), of Erie, Pa, 20 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition, he is also survived by his best friends, Yvette Williams, Toni Jones, Dickie Buckner, Jimmy Jordan and Jake Hancock, his caregiver, Markees Russel, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Relatives and friends may call Friday, January 13, 2023, at Victory Christian Center Cathedral, 1129 Pennsylvania Avenue, Erie, Pa 16503 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 noon with Bishop Dwane Brock, officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will be in Erie Cemetery.
