Brad A. Patton, 61, passed away on May 16, 2025, at home in Cranesville, Pa. He was born on May 3, 1964, son of Gary W. Patton and the late Jean Marie (Hemme) Patton.
Brad attended Fort Lebouf High School, enjoyed the country atmosphere that surrounded the area. He kept that sentiment with him as he grew older. His career became a reflection of this love for home and craftsmanship. For over 30 years, he worked as a remodeling contractor, turning the visions of homeowners into reality. His knack for simply math carried him through a wide variety of work being sure it was done to the correct standards. He was self-employed throughout most of his life, working where his Chevy work truck could take him. He poured his energy into each job, but the greatest reward was always seeing the smiles on the homeowners' faces once the work was completed.
Brad's passions for Chevys didn't end with his work truck; it extended to a collection of vehicles. His mechanical experience allowed him to get them in good running condition. Finding a mint condition can be a rarity and was a thrill of his to place his hands on one. Never idle, a joy of his tinkering mind was to attend auctions and come home to restore and resell. They did not always leave the home grounds as he enjoyed them so much. Brad enjoyed hunting, even taking multiple trips out West Elk and Mule deer hunting.
Brad is survived by his loving wife, Tammy (Scofield) Patton, his siblings, Dale Patton (Betty), Dean Patton (Brenda), Evan Patton (Lindsey) and Carese Patton, all of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Federated Church, 11995 Main Street, East Springfield, Pa 16411 on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, from 4:00 pm until the time of his memorial service at 6:00 pm. Burial will be private.
