Obituary
Bonita A. Poust, age 72 of Winter Haven, FL. Died on May 10, 2023, at Winter Haven Hospital. She was born in Erie, PA on January 8, 1951. Daughter of the late Joseph E. Peters and Elizabeth M. Stodolski Peters. A beloved wife and mother. She enjoyed swimming in her pool, making puzzles, and was an avid reader. An educator who loved her students. Her husband, Allan K. Poust, and youngest son, Alexander K. Poust, preceded her in death. She is survived by her two remaining children, Amy J. Bennetch and Gregory A. Poust. Also survived by her siblings Rosemary, Joseph, Christopher, Jonathan, and Sin (Tim), along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, May 19, 2023, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Davis-Garr Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., 459 East 12th Street, Erie, PA. 16503. Mass of Christian burial at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 2602 Buffalo Road, Erie, Pa 16510 on Saturday, May 20, 2023, beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.
