Richard Ostromecki

Richard “Rich” Leon Ostromecki, 79, of Erie, Pa , passed away on March 10, 2024 at his residence surrounded by family, following an extended illness.

Rich was born in Erie, Pa on December 29, 1944, son of the late Roman and Frances (Skarzynski) Ostromecki.

He loved computers, boating and woodworking, especially with Santa’s Helpers.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Judy (Bagniszewski) Ostromecki, his brother Ronald Ostromecki of Harborcreek, Pa, his sister- in- laws, Janet Piotrowski, Paulette Patora, Bernie Bagniszewski, Denise Ciacchini, all of Erie, Pa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Church 1531 East Grandview Blvd, Erie, Pa 16504 on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Emmaus Soup Kitchen, 211 East 11th Street, Erie, Pa 16503 and Santa’s Helpers, 1253 W. 12th Street, Erie, Pa 16511.
